埃克巴坦那 (Ecbatana) 古城 – 哈马丹

埃克巴坦那(Ecbatana)古城是米底伟大文明的第一个首都，位于哈马丹北部45公顷以上的地区，距离市中心广场不远。在这一地区进行的近半个世纪的断断续续的考古发掘中，除了发现和确认伊朗城市规划和建筑的珍贵遗存外，还获得了来自米底、阿契美尼德王朝(Achaemenid Empire)、安息帝国(Parthian Empire)和其他时期的各种作品。这些珍贵遗存都保存于埃克巴坦那(Ecbatana)博物馆和其他在伊朗和别国家的博物馆。
