Surap Sarkis Church is located in West Azarbaijan, on the southeast side of Keshavarz square in Khoy city. The materials used in this structure are limestone and brick, with the building's arches connected by cruciform stone columns, creating a large semicircular dome (similar to the Columbo dome) in the center of the roof. According to Armenian documents, its construction dates back to 332 or 333 AD. The Armenian records indicating its construction before Islam might refer to an older structure that once existed on this site and was later demolished. The present-day Surp Sarkis Church was built during the Ilkhanid period by the order of Doquz Khatun, the mother of Hulegu Khan. Surp Sarkis Church is registered under the number 822. Location: Keshavarz Square.
